    Clarice Sutton’s future should have been mapped out for her. The only daughter of successful, society parents, the girlfriend of an up and coming public servant. What else could she want? When she is assigned Saint as a client after he kills a suspect, they each feel instant attraction, but also a sense of respect and connection with the other.
    As the noose tightens around Saint, Clarice’s sense that he is a good man trying to right past wrongs grows.

    This story is one of change and becoming more, of finding and holding on to family and love when it is hard and perhaps dangerous.

So many instances based on every day happenings to other people that you can easily identify with the people you are reading about. The surprise chuckles/laughter takes you by surprise.
