I love amnesia stories! Having one written by Margaret Daley makes it even better! She writes such great suspense books and this one is fantastic! I really liked Drake and his protective instinct when he finds "Kay" after hearing a baby cry while he is outside in Big Bend Park. The woman had no idea who she is but she has a "feeling" she is in grave danger and needs to protect this baby she has with her. As the story progresses, there is so much action and it goes to show you what Texas Rangers go through. I couldn't be one, that's for sure! They are amazing people! It becomes evident that the person or people after "Kay" are very ruthless....they seem to just want the baby, Kaleb, but they also want her dead and Drake uses every possible connection he has to keep her safe. I love that he uses his family, other Rangers and local law. He's such a good guy! Do yourself a favor and read this book! It's a wonderful tale of believing in yourself & others and never giving up! I highly recommend it!
